Jackson
Legend has it that Jackson's ancestors came west over the Oregon Trail.  Whether or not that's true, he is the seventh generation Border Collie born on the B-Bar Ranch.  Jackson is up long before dawn and doesn't stop working until his owner calls it a day.  His skills as a cattle dog are known far and wide.

Lily
Lily and Jackson are the best of pals.  While he's gone all day she has a lot to contend with keeping everything running smoothly at the ranch.  There is always something going on that needs her attention.

Milton
Milton has it made in the shade.  From where he sits on his couch he can see the whole Portland skyline.  Each weekday morning his second best human friend comes over and he takes her for a walk. All around the neighborhood everyone knows and loves Milton.

Rufus
Born in the Pacific Northwest, Rufus now, a bit older and with a bad hip, travels the country riding shotgun while his owner drives the RV.  They have been to every state including Alaska, but not Hawaii.

Otis

Otis, aka Bud, is the most popular Boxer at the uptown dog park.  Sometimes it will take almost an hour before he has properly said hello to everyone.  When it's raining Bud wears the bright yellow jacket he got for his birthday.

Skye
As anyone who's owned one knows, Australian Shepherds are very special dogs.  Skye is no exception.  Born in the city, she spent her first couple of years being shuffled around until she got a job in Hood River herding customers around the marina where her owner gives sailing lessons.

Isabel
After ten years of touring the country, Isabel has stacks of scrapbooks and piles of blue ribbons from the many shows she's won.  She and her owner are now retired and live on the Oregon coast.

Anthony ("Tony") Bennett
lives with his mother Rosemary Clooney in a 1930s bungalow. After all his brothers and sisters left home he was glad to have some peace and quiet. Twice a week Anthony and Rosemary lounge on the sun porch while their owner gives singing lessons. They know all the songs and always join in.
Hank
From the time Hank was a puppy he knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. With his perfect vision, keen scent, and attention to detail, Hank's dream was to be a seeing-eye dog. But it wasn't meant to be. Hank just grew and grew until he was so big he took up too much room on the bus and accidentally knocked things over in the store. Hank has been reassured many times that before long he will find his place in the world. In the meantime he's very content lolling around the house.

Molly
Molly has lived all over the place. Everyone loved her but they just couldn't keep her. For awhile she lived in Cascade Locks behind the hamburger stand. Then one day a new person came along and told Molly she would never let her go. Together they crossed the Bridge of the Gods and hiked the rest of the Pacific Crest Trail. Molly now lives in Seattle.
