Paper - Collage, Children's Book

The illustrations for this book were recycled and salvaged papers, glue, felt pens, etc., all easily available and relatively cheap. I wrote a sentence or two for each illustration, hoping to encourage readers to add more to the story. My goal is to encourage children to make their own story books.

Below the jpegs is the video.

Once There Was a Boy

Since he climbed trees, he had pleasant dreams.

It wasn't your ordinary farm.

And he wasn't your ordinary farmer.

There were two sets of twins on the farm.
Charlotte and Fern had been named by their father.

The other two both went by "T."
As in Trouble.

Sugar took voice lessons.
She practiced singing all day long.

Chancey never peeked
when it was Scout's turn to hide.

As a vegetarian Max felt enormously misunderstood.
When he stalked the coop
he was only admiring the beautiful chickens.

And we they ever some gorgeous chickens!

Billy wasn't a goat.
William was an artist.

Jackson stayed up by the barn
when the truck pulled in.
He could smell new puppies a mile away.

Molly watched Jackson watch the barn.

Stella and Jinx hadn't considered themselves fast friends.
But that afternoon everything changed.

The end.

To be continued.
